A series of drawings done as a translation of Walter Benjamin's writings on excavation and memory. Half the drawings consist of fossils removed from their connection with the earth. The other half consist of an anticipation of space which exists primarily beneath the earth.
Each work is done in graphite and ink on 24" x 30" paper.
